The Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Engineering at UAM Azcapotzalco trains professionals capable of analyzing, planning, and solving engineering problems through research, technological development, and design, requiring knowledge of both theoretical and experimental physics, as well as core engineering principles.
Physical Engineers stand out from other engineering professionals because of their strong background in Physics and Mathematics, which is applied throughout the different laboratory courses taken during the degree program.
Our goal is to educate engineers who think ethically, act intelligently, innovate with purpose, and responsibly transform the world around them.
Admission and Graduate Profile
Applicants to the Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Engineering should have:
- Pre-university knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Basic computer skills.
- Interest in Physics, Mathematics, and Technology.
- Interest in interdisciplinary work.
- Ability and willingness to work in teams.
- Motivation for professional growth.
- Civic and ethical awareness.
- Basic knowledge of English, French, or German.
Upon graduation, students will be able to:
- Solve problems by combining theory and practice.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Adapt to change and continue learning independently.
- Communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
- Lead, innovate, and undertake projects with ethics and social commitment.
- Continue postgraduate studies.
In addition, graduates will be able to:
- Apply mathematics, physics, and computing in engineering.
